The Wii U version of the upcoming Watch Dogs title is set to be launched in the fall of this year, according to the Uplay service that Ubisoft itself maintains, although a clear date for the title is not yet available.

The period has only been featured on the North American version of the store and might differ for others elsewhere in the world.

The Wii U version of Watch Dogs was once more delayed in February and Ubisoft has promised that it will offer more information on the game in the coming months.

The title will be delivered on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and current-gen consoles on May 27.

Gamers will be able to explore a futuristic version of the city of Chicago, with an entirely open world layout, using both force and hacking in order to take out a number of villains.

Ubisoft has promised a game experience that will explore modern themes about the power of the state and the role of surveillance.

Watch Dogs was supposed to arrive in the fall of 2013, but the publisher chose to delay the title in order to make sure that it would deliver a set of solid mechanics when it arrived.
