Ubisoft has confirmed that the third and last downloadable expansion for Watch Dogs, its highly popular open world action adventure game, launches this month, in the form of Bad Blood.

Watch Dogs appeared earlier this year and delivered a pretty impressive open world experience that quickly went on to become Ubisoft's fastest-selling game, going on to move over 8 million units across its many different platforms, from PC, to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Since its release, Ubisoft has rolled out quite a few updates designed to fix the many problems reported by players, but also DLC packs that added more content and activities to the big open world of Chicago.

Now, the third and final expansion for the game, Bad Blood, has received a late September launch period, as well as quite a few details about the actual story included in the add-on.

After roaming throughout Chicago and its outskirts during the regular Watch Dogs campaign as Aiden Pearce, players will be able to control a brand new character who helped Aiden in his journey - Raymond Kenney, also known as T-Bone Grady.

"Kenney is a legendary hacker who built the early prototype of ctOS while still working for the Blume Corporation. After the events of Watch Dogs, all he wants is to escape Blume for good. Easier said than done," Ubisoft mentioned about the fan favorite character.

Players will take T-Bone through a series of brand new missions that explore Chicago as well as a new area ruled over by Blume security.

"The campaign explores T-Bone’s story through 10 new missions set in new locations throughout Chicago. Shortly after the events of Watch_Dogs, Raymond “T-Bone” Kenney infiltrates Blume one last time to plant a false trail in their system."

However, T-Bone is pulled back into the high stakes game by a call from an old friend who asks for help eluding Blume's forces. Of course, there's much more to the story than that.

"Before he can disappear from the grid, he receives a panicked phone call from Tobias Frewer, a former colleague from Blume’s ctOS prototype days, who’s in desperate need of help. Putting his own escape at risk, T-Bone decides to help, but quickly realizes the details of his old friend’s story aren’t adding up."

Watch Dogs: Bad Blood is set to debut on September 23 for those who own the Watch Dogs Season Pass. Regular game users will have to wait until September 30 to get their hands on the new experience.
