The upcoming Bad Blood expansion for Watch Dogs, the open world game from Ubisoft, also brings the Street Sweep contracts, which are procedurally generated missions that can be completed alone or with a friend via the cooperative mode.

Watch Dogs delivered a bold open world experience that focused heavily on the notions of hacking into devices but also into the private lives of other people and even other players, thanks to the seamless multiplayer modes.

Since its release, Ubisoft has rolled out plenty of updates to fix the many issues with the game, not to mention a few DLC packs that added fresh activities to the open world.

Now, the game is set to receive its biggest expansion yet, in the form of Watch Dogs: Bad Blood, which is going to appear at the end of the month.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that in the new game players will be able to control T-Bone, one of the allies of Watch Dogs protagonist Aiden Pearce, throughout 10 fresh missions.

However, players will also be treated to a new Street Sweep set of procedurally generated missions that offer all sorts of different challenges.

"Take part in the new Street Sweep contracts to unlock new perks, collect cash and increase your reputation in Chicago’s gang world. These exciting procedurally generated side missions offer infinite exciting challenges," Ubisoft explained.

Of course, the major incentive for these missions is that a leaderboard will be available, showing the best players in these challenges.

"The Street Sweep missions also integrate a social component: top the leaderboard by completing the Daily Contracts with the highest scores possible or take on this brand new challenge with another player."

Besides playing the Street Sweep missions and vying for a top spot on the solo leaderboards, the contracts can also be complete with a friend or a stranger online, unlocking access to a special co-op leaderboard.

"Enjoy Street Sweep side missions with friend or public matchmaking through online coop. All this side content is playable and the leaderboards also support this brand new mode for even more social challenges."

This is the first time a 2-player cooperative mode is present in Watch Dogs, as current online experiences in the game focus more on competition or hacking. The special free roam one allowed for some degree of cooperative, but the Street Sweep missions seem much more adequate for cooperation between players.

Watch Dogs: Bad Blood launches on September 23, for those who own the Season Pass, and on September 30, for those who just have the base game.
