The video below made it online just yesterday, and it has since scored thousands of views on YouTube. Pretty much everyone who saw it was deeply touched by it, and I count myself among these people.
The footage shows a pooch desperately trying to save two dying fish that are simply lying on the ground. Hoping to rescue them, the dog keeps splashing them with water from a puddle.
Despite the fact that there is very little (if any) hope left for the fish, the dog looks anything but willing to give up, end the rescue mission, and go chasing balls or whatever it is that pooches like to do to have fun.
I don't know about you, but I for one think that this dog's behavior just goes to show that dogs can sometimes prove way more sympathetic and kind than humans.
It's still unclear what happened to the fish after this video was shot. I truly regret saying this, but chances are that, despite the dog's best intentions to rescue them, they eventually ended up in someone's frying pan.
