Only a few weeks separate millions of gamers from the upcoming Destiny first-person shooter, and in order to make the wait more bearable, or unbearable, depending on your predilection to waiting, a special launch trailer filled with gameplay footage has been revealed.

Destiny is one of the most anticipated games of the year and developer Bungie has made sure to hype up its multiplayer shooter through all sorts of ways, ranging from videos and screenshots to an alpha and a beta stage that took place across different platforms.

On September 9, the full game will finally appear and, as per tradition, a launch trailer has been prepared for that occasion.

The video is already available, as you can see below, and includes a wide range of gameplay sequences from the new shooter.

The trailer highlights the many worlds that can be explored by players in the upcoming online game, from Earth to the Moon, Mars, or Venus, not to mention the variety of foes they'll met along the way.

Destiny is an ambitious project for both Bungie and publisher Activision, so expect to see more and more of it as we get closer to the release next month, and well after that, as plenty of DLC packs are expected to appear.
