The footage shows a decapitated copperhead biting itself. More precisely, the snake's head, which is separated from the rest of the animal's body, bites the reptile's tail.
Apparently, this bizarre display of animal behavior was caught on camera by a man in Alabama.
The latter used a machete to decapitate the copperhead, and then filmed the snake as it was dying.
Many of the people who've thus far seen the video believe the man shouldn't have killed the snake, or should've at least found a more humane way of ending its life.
“This is an example of unprovoked sadistic behavior,” a viewer commented.
I don't know about you, but I agree with these people's opinion.
