David Bowie is back and he’s not taking any prisoners. After a long hiatus, the musician is promoting a new album, by releasing an official video for the second single off it.

Check it out in full above, it’s truly one of the most visually stunning releases of recent months, if not years.

Exploring our culture’s obsession with celebrity, the video, directed by Floria Sigismondi and shot by cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth, sees David Bowie and Tilda Swinton play husband and wife.

Their lives might not be that exciting but they’re happy, Tilda professes.

Model Saskia De Brauw and androgynous beauty Andrej Pejic, one of the first men to model women’s clothes on the catwalk, play younger, more glamorous versions of David and Tilda, and I can’t help but feel admiration for the way the video manages to bend gender barriers until it erases them completely.

Plus, it stars 3 of my favorite people in the world, Bowie, Tilda and Andrej, what is there not to like? Give it a go and let me know what you think.
