The footage shows two daredevils hanging about on the ocean floor with a bunch of tiger sharks. The two divers, identified as Cameron Nimmo and Mickey Smith, don't just stare at the animals from a distance.
On the contrary, they feed them and even reach out and pet them. For some reason, the sharks seem perfectly at ease with the idea of having humans stand this close to them and even touch them.
As much as tiger sharks might enjoy the occasional petting session, chances are that it will be a cryogenic day in hell before anyone manages to turn one such marine creature into their pet.
Still, it's important to keep in mind that, as proven by this video, sharks are by no means the brainless blood-thirsty beasts too many people think them to be.
Note: Cameron Nimmo and Mickey Smith might make the idea of hanging out with sharks sound like a walk in the park, but you really should not try petting a shark of your own accord.
Thus, daredevils like these two divers only go swimming with sharks and live to tell the tale because they have a lot of experience doing it and know exactly how to handle themselves around these animals.
