Watch: Crocodiles Take Down Almost All Sorts of Prey

Unless one is seriously mistaken with respect to their natural agility and strength, one knows to stay as far away from crocodiles as possible. Still, this video provides us with some new insights into how amazing these reptiles really are.

Most people work on the assumption that crocodiles take down large prey such as zebras and wildebeests.

However, this footage stands as proof that crocodiles do not shy away from hunting down slightly smaller prey, such as birds and monkeys.

Granted, it may very well be that said herbivores are the favorite things on its menu, but this does not mean that, should the opportunity present itself, crocodiles consider it beneath them to go after other animal species as well.

From where we stand, the African Nile crocodile is indeed one of the world's most fierce predators.
