If you live in a big city, you probably know that the subway is a wondrous place. Spend only a few minutes here, and you're guaranteed to see a funny-looking fellow, or a regular Joe or Jane doing something that is just a tad weird.

However, Ravi Dalchand, the current senior brand manager at Bissell Canada, took things to a whole new level when he purposely dropped some pasta in a busy subway station and then proceeded to eat the dish off the floor.

Mind you, Ravi Dalchand ate the pasta straight off the subway floor not because they tasted absolutely divine and he could not simply abandon them there, but because he wanted to prove to the world how efficient his company's new vacuum cleaner is.

The video below shows the company brand manager using the vacuum cleaner to scrub a small portion of the floor. It was this exquisitely clean spot that Ravi Dalchand turned into a plate and proceeded to eat off.

“Typically, we’re a little conservative. But because this product was so innovative, we felt we needed to shock people and tell a story a bit differently than we would otherwise,” explains Raul Garcia with KBS+ Advertising creative team.

Furthermore, “We decided to do something so simple, we’re surprised it hasn’t been done yet. This was a product statement. As soon as we heard it, everything else paled in comparison.”
