14 DAY TRIAL // Staff and vets at the Oregon Zoo in the US are now busy looking after three black bear cubs that were recently rescued by loggers in Yamhill County.
According to Huffington Post, the loggers found the three cubs hidden inside a hollow tree.
Their mother was nowhere in sight, and odds are that it abandoned them because the presence of humans in the area greatly upset it.
Since the cubs are still very young, it was decided that they had no chance to survive on their own in the wild. Hence, they were brought to the Denver Zoo.
Vets who have had the chance to examine them say that the litter is made up of two girls and one boy.
The black bear cubs are currently kept at the zoo's veterinary center. They are to remain here until they become a tad stronger and learn to look after themselves to a certain extent.
Once this happens, they are to be transferred to the Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary, where they will probably remain for the rest of their lives.
