The video made it online towards the end of last week, on Friday, and has since gone viral. Apparently, there are plenty of folks out there who enjoy a little mystery bordering on the bizarre and terrifying.
Word has it the creature shown in this video desperately trying to chew its way out of a metal cage keeping it captive was found by a group of workers swimming around in a water reservoir in China.
Despite the fact that tens of thousands of people have watched the footage, nobody has the faintest idea what the creature might be and what it was doing swimming in the water reservoir.
Some believe the animal is some sort of alien. More down-to-earth guys and gals, however, think it to be a bear cub that for some reason is missing all its fur.
Whatever its identity, it’s pretty obvious this scary-looking creature really doesn’t like being held captive and stared at, hence its desperate attempt to break free by chewing the metal cage keeping it trapped.
