14 DAY TRIAL // The latest celebrity to join PETA's anti-meat and dairy consumption campaign is Mayim Bailik, whom most people probably know as the nerdy girl from the 'Big Bang Theory.'
In the video she agreed to make for PETA, Mayim speaks about how, since she was just a child, she felt guilty about eating animals. Therefore, once she grew up and she realized that the choice is entirely up to her, she switched to vegetarianism.
As well as this, the actress always makes sure that her family only eats healthy meals and avoids meat, seeing how the latter has been proven to cause conditions such as diabetes and cancer, not to mention the fact that most doctors also link heart diseases and strokes to meat consumption.
For the time being, both PETA and Mayim Bailik hope that, once this video hits the public eye, more people will give vegetarianism a chance and thus embrace a healthier lifestyle.
