Beyonce promised she would be singing live at the Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans and the video above can confirm that’s just what she did. She also brought along two surprise guest performers.
Indeed, as I reported a while back, Beyonce was reunited with Destiny’s Child at the Super Bowl. Though they did not perform their brand new single “Nuclear,” they delighted fans with “Bootylicious” and “Independent Women.”
Beyonce’s solo performance was packed with huge hits of recent years and so much attitude that only the term “fierce” could probably best describe it.
Among others, she performed “Crazy in Love,” “End of Time,” “Baby Boy,” “Single Ladies” and “Halo.”
All in all, it was a spectacular Halftime performance, 15 minutes packed full of sassiness, talent and showmanship. Beyonce didn’t lie when she said she was “born for this.”
[Update, February 7, 2013]: The video above has been pulled. Check out the official version from NFL below.
Beyonce's performance was all hotness again during halftime ...was waving and screaming at the tv with Sista's Uplifting Sista's like a school girl when destiny's child was singing the "single ladies" song! #beyoncefanallday
