Offering a unique glimpse into the life of one of the most powerful women in the industry, the documentary is made up of footage shot by Beyonce herself on her laptop.
It shows her at work, recording music and handling business, talking about certain decisions that made headlines (like the most painful one of firing her father as her manager), and having fun with her friends, family and daughter.
“Life Is but a Dream” shows us Beyonce the artist and Beyonce the woman, with the star constantly struggling to find some balance between the two.
