Video shows how beer changes its viscosity before it evaporates

First off, I would like to say that, given how many videos showing people carrying out weird experiments are now available on the Internet, I'm quite surprised that it is only now that we finally get to learn what happens when beer is poured into a fairly hot frying pan.

Then again, subjecting beer to such cruel treatment is nothing short of alcohol abuse, and, by the looks of it, there are few in this world who are soulless and evil enough to torment a perfectly good ale just to satisfy their curiosity.

The video above made it online a few days ago, and it shows someone pouring Newcastle Brown Ale into a frying pan. The beer does not evaporate all of a sudden, but instead starts to change its viscosity.

Eventually, it turns into an odd-looking gloop that I for one find highly entertaining to look at as it moves back and forth in the frying pan, most likely trying to escape.
