A few days ago, the news broke that 11 bears living at a roadside zoo had finally found a suitable home. As reported at that time, the animals are now living at the International Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Boyd, Texas.

The video above tells the story of their rescue, from the time authorities first learned that these bears were in dire need of help until the moment the neglected animals were released into their new enclosures.

Green-oriented group PETA is delighted that the bears are finally treated with care and provided with suitable living conditions, food, and veterinary care.

More so since the bears owe their rescue to an undercover investigation carried out by members of this organization.

There is little denying that these bears' story is heartwarming, to say the least.
