Bastion, the recent indie hit from Supergiant Games, was one of the most innovative titles to be released this year and much of its charm was linked to the understated and varied narration that accompanied all the actions of the player.

Now the narrator has taken on the task of providing similar commentary for other well known titles, including Super Mario Bros, which seems to be all about violence towards bricks, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tetris, which can be engaging despite the simple nature of the game, Super Smash Bros and Rock Band.

Seeing how the narration works with these other games is interesting because it will make players appreciate the way it was integrated into Bastion even more.

Unfortunately the developers at Supergiant Games have not said whether they will be creating a sequel to Bastion so we might not see this style of narration done well for some time.
