If every city in the world installed such traffic lights sooner rather than later, that would be just perfect

Let's be honest here: nobody likes waiting at traffic lights all that much. Hence the fact that, too often, folks simply choose to ignore them and cross the street regardless of whether they are supposed to or not.

The result is that hundreds of pedestrians get hit, maybe even killed by speeding cars on a yearly basis. That's right, impatience can prove deadly.

The good news is that there appears to be a very simple solution to this problem: dancing traffic lights. Check out the video below to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

These traffic lights are designed to get people's attention and entertain them for a while, just until the time is right to finally go ahead and cross the street.

Even better, folks can get busy dancing with them and have some fun while burning off a few calories. It would basically be like attending a dance class in the middle of the street.

If you're worried people might get bored watching some traffic lights performing the same stunts over and over again, fear not, this will not happen.

This is because these lights mimic the movements of actual, real people who are dancing nearby and having their routines recorded. Pretty cool, right?
