Acer has launched its Iconia W4 tablet a month ago, after teasing the device at Intel events around Europe. The slate is already available for purchase in the United States with a price tag of $329 / €245.

For the moment, we still don’t know when the slate is going to make its store debut in Europe, but as we wait, Acer has posted an official commercial detailing some of the capabilities of the W4.

First off, we’re told that Acer is really proud of this little 8-incher. It fits into one hand leaving the other one free to swipe into the Windows 8 experience. The slate draws power from Intel Atom Z3740 1.8GHz CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. It boasts two cameras (2MP frontal one and 5MP rear one), HDMI out, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The tablet also ships with Microsoft Office Home & Student. The commercial makes it a point to highlight the Zero air gap technology, which means there’s no space between the touch-glass and the screen, which gives users an improved touch-screen experience.

The commercial also teases some neat colorful covers for the W4 called Crunch. Why did the company call them that? Well, because they can actually be crunched and transformed into a stand. There’s also a keyboard folio/stand available.
