The footage details the life of Emerson, an abused puppy which is left with no choice except run away from home on several occasions prior to his owner's finally deciding to give him up.
When he got rescued, this pooch was both malnourished and only had a few teeth left in its mouth. Furthermore, his fur was so matted that it ended up causing tremendous damage to his skin.
Despite his losing his leg because of the abuses he suffered, Emerson has managed to overcome the pain of his experiences and now seems ready and willing to make the most of life together with his new owner.
