Jeffrey Lee's story should serve as an inspiration to greenheads worldwide

Thanks to the environmentalists working with Greenpeace, who saw fit to upload the video above on the organization's official website, we can now rest assured that mining companies are not as powerful as they would have us believe.

Hence Jeffrey Lee's managing to keep one such company from going looking for uranium in one of Australia's national parks.

Since I'm trying to not give you any spoilers, I just want to say that, if it were not for his decision to value his land more than he values his personal wellbeing, Jeffrey Lee would now be a very rich man.

“Wherever uranium miners move in to do what they do, human rights have a tendency to move out. That’s why the victory of Jeffrey Lee, who has secured protection for his land from uranium mining at Koongarra in Australia, sends a strong message to the nuclear industry that people must come before profits,” Greenpeace write on their website, and I could not agree more.
