ASUS is the official manufacturer of the Nexus 7 (2013) tablet and some time ago I told you that a bunch of new accessories for the device have been teased in the official ASUS shop.

I’m talking about a charging stand and the ASUS PW100 wireless charging stand, which by the way, have now been made official. ASUS has also added a video teaser to detail the capabilities and efficacy of the two new-comers.

The first model will go on sale for $50 / €36 and will basically allow owners to slip their tablet in landscape mode, in order to slide it in the charging port. Also worthy of mention is the fact the dock supports 1080p HD video output via its embedded HDMI out located on the back.

The wireless charger can be bought for $90 / €65 and allows uses to charge their Nexus slate or phone for that matter in portrait or landscape mode. Basically any device that uses the Qi wireless charging standard is eligible to be used in concert with the ASUS charging stand.

You can check out the video to get a clear idea of how you can use the two dock models to recharge your Nexus 7 (2013) tablet.
