A solid inventory system is crucial for the success of any sort of role-playing game and the development team at inXile is launching a new video for its upcoming Wasteland 2 that shows off how the game will handle player items and equipment.

The game is at the moment in a pre-alpha stage, but the team says that it is now able to play it from beginning to end in its current state.

Chris Keenan, the development director at inXile, states in an official update that, “We will be iterating and polishing the levels from a gameplay standpoint while the art team is making everything look amazing.”

A beta should be launched in the next couple of months.

Wasteland 2 is a party-based experience that will use the classic setting and mechanics.
