Video game publisher Warner Bros. seems to be getting ready to launch a new installment in the Spy versus Spy franchise, which has been unused for quite a long time.

The company has sent news outlets an image of the familiar silhouetted figure accompanied by the phrase “If you don't succeed at first ... spy, spy again.”

Development of the new Spy vs. Spy title is being handled by Robots & Pencils.

The company has not said what platforms the new game might be launched on or whether this is an entirely original product or simply a port of the older titles for devices like the iOS-powered smartphones and other mobile gaming devices.

Robots & Pencils has launched a number of other titles on the iPhone and the iPad.

The most recent Spy vs. Spy video game was launched on the PlayStation 2 in 2005 and it was so badly received that the franchise has not been used since then.
