Christian Bale has already said that he won’t be playing Batman in the upcoming “Justice League” movie, but perhaps there’s still a glimmer of hope of seeing him as the Caped Crusader again. Admittedly, Warner Bros. is desperate to get him on board the “Man of Steel” sequel, “Batman vs. Superman.”

While various names are being thrown in the mix as potential Batman leads (because most industry insiders are willing to bet good money on Bale being replaced), The Sun writes that Warners is willing to throw big money at him to come back.

They’ve already offered him $60 million (€45.3 million) for just this one movie, thinking perhaps it would be enough to get him to reconsider revisiting the character even without Chris Nolan, who directed him in the trilogy that ended with “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Of course, you should bear in mind that this comes from The Sun, so it could turn out to be just a rumor with no grounds.

On the other hand, it would make a lot of sense. And, if Warners is successful, can you imagine how awesome it would be to have Bale and Henry Cavill sharing the same screen?
