Paradox Interactive have just dropped a new batch of screenshots for their work-in-progress title called Warlock 2: The Exiled, which promises to deliver an even deeper strategic experience than its predecessor, set in the world of Ardania.

Warlock 2: The Exiled is a turn-based strategy fantasy wargame that promises a robust single and multiplayer experience, both PvP and co-op.

Players of Warlock 2 will begin as exiles on a shard from a shattered world, and will fight their way through countless other exiles and terrifying creatures, for in the world of Ardania, war knows no mercy.

The game features hundreds of mythical beasts to deploy in the battlefield, each with distinct tactical uses, and over 150 spells that allow command over powerful enchantments, nasty hexes and powerful elemental forces, as the developers claim.

Warlocks offer no surrender, no retreat, and no auto-resolving battles, making sure your every decision is crucial and bears the weight of responsibility.

Additional information about the title can be found on its official webpage.
