In Warhawk, players experience the thrill of white-knuckle aerial combat with swarms of enemy fighters, bone-crunching armored assaults and high-intensity infantry combat in a massive, all-out war fought both on the ground and in the skies. Warhawk delivers high definition warfare and multi-modal combat exclusively through online gaming, allowing players to battle against and alongside the Warhawk online community. Through various gameplay modes such as Team Deathmatch, Territories Mode and Capture the Flag, players engage in cooperative online play or fend for themselves against a barrage of enemies in thrilling combat.
During battle, players can take command of the most advanced war machine in the fleet, the Warhawk, capable of aerobatic dogfights at high speeds or hovering over ground troops providing tactical support. Players continue the battle on foot with an arsenal of weaponry including rifles, flame throwers, grenades and more. Furthermore, players can gain access to an array of ground vehicles and lay waste with powerful weapons mounted on jeeps, tanks and specialty transports.
PSN Connectivity Issues FAQ
"1. Go to www.portforward.com and click "guides" then "Port Forwarding guides by router", choose your router/modem and on the next page click "PlayStation Network" (an easier way to find both is by pressing Ctrl F and typing in one of the words in the name of your router, and on the 'Select program' page search 'Playst' and it will be the first thing to be found).
2. You will be at a page that will start off by talking about Static I.P addresses. Click the link that sais "Static I.P Address", and then click your operating system when the list is shown. Leave this page for now.
3. On your PlayStation 3, while on the XMB go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings. Set everything to 'Easy' so that it configures automatically. If prompted, turn UPnP on and Do not use Proxy Servers. Once this is done it should ask to 'Test Connection'. Do this.
It will most likely say:
Obtain IP Address: Done
Internet Connection: Done
PlayStation Network: Done
UPnP: Not Available
NAT: Type 3
UPnP is never available because apparently Sony has it disabled, but its safe to have it on anyway. If you don't have NAT 1, NAT 2 or 'Failed' (You really shouldn't be seeing Failed yet, though) your Warhawk should be working, although I have NAT 2 and it takes a few tries sometimes to get into ranked servers, but most of the time I can get in. NAT 1 means your PS3 and Modem/Router are directly connected. NAT 2 means your PS3 is getting through everything it needs and NAT 3 means the connection is being blocked. My NAT sometimes says 'Failed' when I check through the Settings and Connection Status List, but everything still works, and once I do a connection test it says NAT 2 again.
4. Go to Settings and Connection Status List (in Network Settings). Write down or take a picture of this page. Take the 'Default Router' and 'IP Address' and enter them both into the boxes near the bottom of the 'portforward.com Static IP guide' page (but on that page it says Default Gateway instead of Default Router), and then click 'Find Static IP addresses'. Now go back to your PS3
5. On your PS3 in XMB > Settings > Network Settings go to Internet Connection Settings. Instead of 'Easy' go to 'Custom'. You need not worry about the first page, as that's to do with speed which your PS3 can figure out on its own, so choose 'Auto-Detect'. The next page will be 'IP Address settings' and I want you to go to 'Manual' . In the 'IP Address' row, enter the first Static IP Address portforward.com has listed for you, into that. Everything you wrote down from the 'Internet Connection and Status' list needs to be entered into the corresponding boxes in front of you, now. Go to the next page, and Choose 'Auto' for MTU. 'Do not Use' for Proxy Servers, while is on the next page. And finally 'Enable' for UPnP. Press x on the final page, and test your connection. It should still work and you should still have NAT 3.
6. You're done with your PS3, now. Go back to the 'portforward.com static IP guide' page and click 'Back' twice, so that you're on the 'Port Forwarding for the [Insert your Router here]' page. Enter the Static IP you entered into your PS3 into the box right in front of you.
I can't help you from here on, because it depends on your router, so follow the instructions listed on the portforward page you should still be on. Make sure to do and enter exactly what it tells you. Once you're done, and have forwarded the 5 ports, go to your PS3, restart it and it go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Test. You should now have NAT 2, and should be able to join ranked Warhawk servers a lot easier. "
