Warhammer: Mark of Chaos Announced

Games publisher and developer Namco announced today Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, a real-time strategy game set in the renowned Warhammer world.
The game is set for release in late 2006 for the PC.

Developed by Black Hole Entertainment, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos features epic battles within massive landscapes, while offering an astounding level of detail, from a bird's eye view down to the insignias on a warrior's armor.

"It is an honor to bring a real-time strategy game of this magnitude to our top-flight PC line-up," said Nobuhiro Kasahara, CEO of Namco.
"With Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, the emphasis is centered on warring armies and mighty champions and less so on the tedious aspects of base management that can often take away from the epic battles. This outstanding license deserves the best that the genre can bring", he added.
