HeroCraft has just announced that its next Android game is set in the Warhammer 40k universe and will arrive on Google’s platform next year.

The game’s announcement trailer mentions that the title hopes to “blend the grim, dark Warhammer 40,000 universe, collectable cards and turn-based tactical combat and will be free to play.” The trailer also highlights some of the playable classes, attack types and some of the weapons.

HeroCraft confirmed that it was working on a game in the Warhammer 40k franchise back in the summer, but details were a bit vague on the actual gameplay system.

Well, now we know that HeroCraft is building a turn-based strategy title based on the card game system. Let’s hope it won’t be disappointing.

According to developers, Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will be released on iOS, Android, PC and other platforms in the second quarter of 2014.
