Developer Wargaming has announced that it is preparing to launch the 8.0 for World of Tanks, which is supposed to introduce an entire new game engine while also adding new content and new features.

The big change that players will notice with World Of Tanks is a more realistic system for tank movement physics and a new render engine, which comes with shader support and new water effects.

There are also new customization options for emblems and inscriptions, more adaptive camouflage and a better interface for the tech tree.

Update 8.0 for World of Tanks also adds tank destroyers for the Russian, the SU-122-44, SU-122-54, SU-100M-1, Uralmash-1 and Object 263 and the Matilda Black Prince for the British.

Sergey Burkatovskiy, the lead producer for World of Tanks, stated, “We’ve been working hard on implementing new physics for the game for quite some time. This update is a huge milestone for the team. The improvements and enhancements will really change the way players experience World of Tanks.”
