Wargaming, the company behind World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, announces that it is acquiring Gas Powered Games, the developer of such titles as Demigod, Supreme Commander and Dungeon Siege.

Chris Taylor, the leader of the company, has recently revealed that he is talking to a number of companies about the future of his studio.

Neither of the two companies is ready to talk about future collaboration plans and exactly what kind of experience Gas Powered Games will create.

Victor Kislyi, the chief executive officer of Wargaming, states, “Gas Powered Games' heritage and development pedigree shows us just how valuable an addition Chris and his company will make to the Wargaming family. Gas Powered Games has a long track record of providing incredibly engaging AAA gaming experiences and we can't wait to start working with them.”
