The development team at Eugen Systems and publisher Focus Home Interactive announce the release of the second significant free downloadable content for their military-themed strategy Wargame Red Dragon, which allows gamers to fight through an alternate history Second Korean War which takes place in 1992.

At the same time, a big new patch has been delivered for the experience, which is designed to improve the overall balance, and there are 12 new units for gamers to use in their decks in multiplayer matches.

And if that is not enough, gamers can also get access to Wargame Red Dragon on Steam during the MidWeek Deal promotion with a 50 percent price cut, and a franchise pack that includes all the titles in the series is offered with a 60% reduction.

The developers are saying, “The Second Korean War will see China, North Korea, and the Soviet Union pit themselves against the might of the United Nations' coalitions. Armed with the Patriot missile system, the USA buffs their anti-air defenses, as do the Chinese with the JH-7. The South Korean K9-Thunder marches onto the field, to the detriment of the USSR's elite Spetsnaz GRU infantry units.”

At the moment, Eugen Systems is also working on a third DLC which will upgrade the capabilities of the three Scandinavian nations included in Wargame Red Dragon.

The development team is also working on a new strategy title called Act of Aggression.
