The development team at Eugen Systems announces that it is working on a sequel for Wargame AirLand Battle, called Red Dragon, which will move the action to the Korean peninsula in Asia and will feature new weapons and nations.

Players will be able to use the hardware of armies from The People’s Republic of China, South Korea, Japan, North Korea, and the Commonwealth, with Australian and New Zeeland forces and some British backing.

The timeframe of the game, according to the official forums, will extend from 1975 to 1991 and will once more include a flare-up of tensions linked to the Cold War, which leads to a conventional conflict.

Red Dragon is set to introduce amphibious capabilities for vehicles and will give players some control over naval assets.

More than 1,200 units will be part of the new Wargame and all the nations from AirLand Battle will be included for those who want to use them in the multiplayer modes.
