The developers at Eugen Systems and publisher Focus Home Interactive have launched a multiplayer oriented trailer for the upcoming strategy game Wargame: European Escalation, showing off all the options that gamers have when it comes to engaging others in battle.

The two companies have also announced that those fans who pre-order the game either on the official site or on Steam will be offered immediate access to the multiplayer beta, allowing them to get into games and offer feedback on the game mechanics.

The trailer offers commentary from Alexis Le Dressay, who is the creative director working at Eugen Systems, and details the impressive battlefields, which can be as large as 15 square kilometers and accommodate 100 million objects that can be set aflame and destroyed.

The multiplayer modes accommodate up to eight players, split into a NATO and Warsaw Pact team and the developers are also including social networking and tracking features designed to create a true community of wargamers.

Wargame: European Escalation will be launched on February 23 exclusively on the PC.
