The developers at Eugen Systems and publisher Focus Home Interactive have released the launch trailer for their strategy and tactics title Wargame: European Escalation, which is launched both via a retail PC package and using digital distribution service like Steam.

The new trailer is just one minute and a half long, but it offers a very good look at what the strategy titles actually look like, using just images taken using the actual IRISZOOM engine that will power the player experience.

The engine was first used in R.U.S.E. and since then the development team at Eugen Systems has improved it, allowing players to view the action from up high in order to decide the tactics for his troops before zooming in so that he can safely see how his units are actually performing in the field.

Wargame includes the hardware of eight nations, gathered under the NATO and Warsaw Pact flags, as they battle for control over the nerve centers of Europe.
