Video game publisher Focus Home Interactive and the ESL announce that they are working together on a tournament for the strategy title Wargame AirLand Battle, which will be launched on September 29, allowing gamers to compete for cash prizes.

Every Sunday, a competition for North America and Europe will be launched using the 2 on 2 game mode, played using Conquest.

The monthly finals will see the best eight teams face off in order to get an even bigger prize.

The official website of the ESL offers more information on the Wargame AirLand Battle tournaments and gives players a chance to register.

The game is developed by Eugen Systems and allows players to create specialized decks based on armies from either NATO or the Warsaw Pact and then challenge gamers on a variety of maps.

At the moment, the team is getting ready to deliver a second free DLC for the title.
