Dominic Cooper, one of the actors from the upcoming Warcraft movie, has talked a bit about the project's story and how it will attract viewers by delivering a very human conflict that tackles current day issues.

The film based on the Warcraft franchise from Blizzard is finally entering production in the near future, and already quite a few actors have signed on to appear in the motion picture.

Among them is Dominic Cooper, who will star in another video game-based movie later this year, namely Need for Speed.

He recently talked with CraveOnline and emphasized that the story from the Warcraft film would impress viewers by tackling modern day issues.

"There’s a very human story at the heart of it," Cooper said, "because there’s a few of us that are humans in it that are up against tribes and problematic issues that exist in the world that we exist in. It’s happening all over the world at the moment and you see it happening all over."

"People have savaged their own lands and their own environment and they’re having to find a new environment in which to move into through the hostility of others. If there’s something as poignant as that that we can relate to and that we see unfolding in everyday life, then it will make it a worthwhile story."

What's more, this story will ensure that the Warcraft movie is actually successful, as the whole production team isn't just relying on the franchise's name to draw in many viewers.

"What [video game movies] forget is actually you have an ability to interact with a video game and that’s why they’re so successful. So if you’re going to make a film, the pleasure in a film is to be immersed in the world in a brilliantly, even more beautiful than a video game so there’s got to be something more special about it and that ultimately comes down to storyline and content."

The Warcraft movie is going to appear in cinemas in 2016.
