Video game developer Fatshark and publisher Paradox Interactive have announced that pre-orders are now open for their upcoming War of the Roses, the squad-based medieval combat action title that pits the house of Lancaster against that of York.

Those who plan to get the game before it is officially launched will be able to see screenshots and trailers on the new official website.

The new website also offers information on the leaderboards and the beta action and anyone who pre-orders War of the Roses will be able to join testing at once and offer feedback on the game.

Those who pre-order will be able to choose their side and get special equipment and weapons that bear the emblems of their own houses.

When War of the Roses is out, the gamers will be clearly identified on the battlefield as no one else will be able to buy the same equipment for the first few months.
