Last Friday, MMA fighter War Machine, formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver, put such a violent beating on his girlfriend Christy Mack that she is still to be released from the hospital. In a statement on the assault, the adult star claimed that she and the fighter were not even together anymore at the time.

“At about 2am Friday morning, Jon Koppenhaver arrived unannounced to my home in Las Vegas, NV, after he broke up with me in May, he moved out of my house and back to San Diego. When he arrived, he found myself and one other fully clothed and unarmed in the house,” she wrote.

She also released photos of the gruesome injuries she sustained in the attack, together with a detail account of how War Machine punched her, kicked her, stabbed her with a blunt knife, and repeatedly humiliated her as a means to getting revenge for finding her in the company of another man.

Reports online claim that the other man is actually Mack’s new boyfriend Corey Thomas, but she doesn’t explain their relationship. As you can see, she does make a point of stressing that War Machine had no right to be at her house and even less to feel jealous that she was spending time with someone else.

According to fresh photos unearthed, War Machine wasn’t as delusional about the relationship as she made it sound. He did say on his Twitter, whilst on the run from the police (they still haven’t caught him, by the way) that he popped by the house to surprise her with an engagement ring, when he found her with another guy.

The Dirty and TMZ have obtained photos of War Machine and Christy together on July 25, acting like a couple at an MMA event – when she claimed that they were not even in contact anymore.

“[We] obtained pictures of the former couple together post their supposed break-up in bed only a week or so ago, and they two were spotted together recently as a week ago,” Nik Richie, owner of The Dirty tells Fox News. “War Machine reportedly caught her cheating. He thought they were still together. What he did was 100 percent wrong but she provoked him.”

Other reports online say that Mack and War Machine never did break up, and further proof of that might also be found in photos he posted on his Instagram at the end of July. Indeed, in one of them, Mack is seen sleeping in the same bed as the fighter, whilst he’s complaining to his followers that she fell asleep before making love to him.

War Machine is still hiding from the police, and no less than 7 arrest warrants have been issued in his name. He is wanted for battery, strangulation, domestic violence with great bodily harm, assault with a deadly weapon, strangulation, and coercion with the threat of force, and there is a $20,000 (€14,942) reward for anyone who can provide information on his whereabouts.
