"Wanted" Film Turns into a Mobile Game

- Starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie

By: Elena Balan, Communications News Editor

The highly-anticipated movie, "Wanted", starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie, will also bring on its release a mobile game version. I-play has expanded its partnership with Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group to develop and distribute such a game based on the
film.

I-play looks to take the production's story and build the action of a mobile game and benefit from the movie's popularity. And there are high chances that it will be a great success, considering the big Hollywood stars that play in it.

"Wanted" tells the tale of one apathetic nobodys transformation into one of the strongest enforcers of justice. A hero for a new generation, Wesley Gibson, will emerge from the 25-year-old Wes. The man starts off being a drone subject to his boss' demeaning attitude and his girlfriend's superior acts.

One day he meets a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie) and all his life begins to change. After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dads death by unlocking his dormant powers. Wes slowly discovers this new team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code of carrying out the death orders given by fate at a certain time.

"We are hugely excited to have been chosen to take one of Universal's prized licenses for 2008 to mobile. Our heritage for creating groundbreaking concepts in mobile gaming has been proven many times before, and we look forward to re-writing the rules of gaming with Wanted, the mobile game", said David Gosen, President of I-play.

The film is set to debut in U.S theaters on Friday, March 28, 2008. The mobile game based on this movie will come out on the market at the same time.
