14 DAY TRIAL // Steve Kroft will discuss the authorized biography of Steve Jobs on 60 Minutes Sunday with none other than Walter Isaacson, the book’s author himself.
60 Minutes promises to offer exclusive insight to Isaacson’s bio: The CBS special was confirmed on Twitter: “SUNDAY: Steve Kroft sits down with historian Walter Isaacson for the first look at the authorized biography of Steve Jobs.”
According to a report by 9to5mac.com, Steve Wozniak has recently learned that he was, indeed, interviewed for the book, only he didn’t actually know that. The interviews were friendly chats between the author and the Apple-co founder in the VIP room at a couple of Apple product launches.
Walter Isaacson’s “Steve Jobs: a Biography” goes on sale next week, October 24. The book had initially been scheduled to hit the stands in November. A scene at the end of the book will depict Jobs in his final days as he tells Isaacson he is close to death.
