Wall-E Is Real, EZ-Robot Makes It So

We've seen some really weird and cool ideas for robots over the years, but EZ-Robot may have just secured a special spot in its customers' hearts by creating a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) robot kit.

The Canadian start-up company made it possible to put together all sorts of robotic shapes and sizes, as the primary components allow many parts to be added or swapped.

It is this that permits the creation of Wall-E, Dalek from “Doctor Who,” scarabs, dogs, etc.

The other asset of the robot kit is that it is comprehensive, so typical customers with no programming skills can play with it, not just pros.

That said, if one does possess advanced skills, they can rest assured that EZ-Robot's invention supports the Arduino and iRobot Roomba systems.

The DIY robot kit is composed of a wireless robot controller (Bluetooth), a battery pack, five sensors, ultrasonic distance sensor, a tracking camera, EZ-Builder control software and other parts.

The price is $235 (178 Euro) but, alas, the stocks are already depleted with no clue when a new production run is on sale.
