Waiting for Windows Vista

If you are among those who have been waiting for Windows Vista for longer than they can remember, now you have the chance to dream about having it installed on your computer.

Vista Inspirat Shell Pack is a complete custom shell pack for all Windows XP. It consists of modified icons and a new themed appearance for Windows XP.

After installing the shell pack, you will feel like commanding Microsoft's long-awaited operating system, intended by the Redmond giant to rule our PCs for 10 years.

You will surely enjoy the upper-side menu with the enlarging icons
when you hover the cursor over them, the new skins for Office, Windows Explorer, Outlook and Windows Media Player.

Additionally, the icons for folders, files and the ones from My Computer have been changed to look more like Windows Vista's graphical concept.

Although we would have expected for these changes to affect the system's performances, the computer behaved as if we had a classic XP theme.

The only drawback is that it can't be installed over other shell packs, such as Longhorn Transformation Pack.

So, if you want to get used to Windows Vista and you didn't have the chance to download the first beta, then CrystalXP.net's application is the perfect solution.

Vista Inspirat Shell Pack is freeware, it is available here, and it has been certified by Softpedia as being 100% CLEAN.

It's highly unlikely that among your favorite applications, there isn't an IM client. There's a broad offer, and even Google has entered the market. This week, Softpedia News is inviting you to choose your favorite IM client.

THIS PACK RUINED MY XP 64 EDITION, AND DID NOT GIVE ANY ALERT !

Well... The pack should be used on WindowsXP, WindowsXP SP1 or SP2, Windows2003, or so it is stated on the product's page. Since the 64bit edition uses the same tech. as Win 2K3 and XP your problem is very strange, but still it is also true that the SoftPedia Labs have tested the pack only on 32bit OSs. Although I can't help wondering why nobody else complained... (not about crashing their system at least)
