The creator of the Bamboo Pen brings a new set of slates to tap your inventive potential

Indian creative professionals and people, who like to spend their time drawing in the digital environment, have a new reason to be excited about. Wacom has revealed a set of powerful tablets under the Cintiq banner, bundled with Android or Windows 8.

The Windows 8 version is called Cintiq Companion and offers a perfect environment for both work and play. The Companion enables professionals working in fields like design, architecture or art to remain productive while on the go.

The tablet is bundled with a 3rd-generation Intel Core processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000 which ensure the most complicated of procedures will be performed without much fuss. It boasts a beautiful HD display featuring 1,920 x 1080 pixels.

With the Cintiq Companion users can opt between 8GB of memory, 256 GB SSD and Windows 8 or 8GB memory, 512 GB SSD with Windows 8 Pro. Get your maximum results by grabbing the one perfect for you.

The Android variant, on the other hand, is actually a hybrid. It can be plugged to a Mac or PC and professionals can have accesses to the needed software, or it can be used a stand-alone tablet, when users are on the go.

This tablet is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and runs Android Jelly Bean. Wacom has slipped in special creative software called Wacom Manga Canvas, a nice surprise for those purchasing it. Users can opt for a 16GB of storage or 32GB. The standard features are also offered with the hybrid: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two cameras and microphone.

Indian customers can purchase the entry level Companion for the price of Rs 225,000 / $3634 and the more advanced version costs Rs 250,000 / $4038 / €2990. The 32GB Hybrid can be grabbed for Rs 165,000$2665 / €1973, while the 32GB version is available for Rs 185,000 / $2988 / €2212. The slates will ship with a pressure-sensitive pen.
