Developer 2K has announced that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of the upcoming wrestling video game WWE 2K15 will be coming out a bit later than initially expected, with both of them being now slated for a November release.
The current-gen versions of the wrestling game were initially supposed to come out alongside the current-generation ones, but now they're being pushed back by a month, the developer and publisher has revealed on its website.
"Visual Concepts and Yuke's are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles. The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations," Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts, comments on the delay.
The delay puts WWE in a pretty nasty line of fire, as the wrestling game will now come out during the same week Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 and Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 5 step into the current-gen arena.
WWE 2K15 is coming out on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, and on October 28 in North America and October 31 internationally on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, just like initially scheduled.
