Publisher 2K Sports has released the first in a series of videos meant to offer a behind-the-scenes look of WWE 2K15, the upcoming wrestling game.

The first episode is titled A New Generation of Wrestling, and it showcases and explains the various new motion capture, face-scanning and enhanced commentary techniques used in the first next-gen entry in the long-standing WWE series.

WWE commentators Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler also make a brief appearance, being shown recording the new commentary for the game and interacting with each other, also a series first, as in previous installments they used to record their lines separately.

Some of the WWE superstars featured in the video, depicted struggling with the motion capture tech and showing it who's boss, include Triple H, Hulk Hogan, The Big Show, Cesaro, Rob Van Dam, Jimmy Hart, Randy Orton and The Usos.

WWE 2K15 is currently scheduled for release on October 28 in North America and October 31 in Europe, headed for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 computer entertainment systems from Sony and the Xbox 360 and Xbox One home consoles from Microsoft.

The game's pre-order bonuses boast two of Sting's personas, and the special Hulkamania Collector's Edition also delivers Hulk Hogan as a playable character at launch, as well as some genuine wrestling memorabilia.
