With a few hours to go before WWDC ticket sales are closed, any developers deciding at the last minute that they want to go should hurry up and visit developer.apple.com/wwdc.
According to Apple’s original announcement on April 3, “Developers can apply for tickets via the WWDC website (developer.apple.com/wwdc) now through Monday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, and tickets will be issued to attendees through random selection.”
The lottery system was instated so that everyone gets a fair chance at nabbing a seat in Moscone West on June 2, including students, who have the chance to win a scholarship.
“There will also be 200 Student Scholarships available, giving students around the world the chance to earn a free ticket (developer.apple.com/wwdc/students),” Apple says.
Developers who are eager to find out if they won a ticket or not will know the status of their purchase in a few hours. Those of you who are unlucky and are left grounded will be able to watch videos from all technical sessions as they get posted starting June 2 at developer.apple.com/wwdc/videos.
If you’re in a hurry to buy a seat, go to the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2014 website at developer.apple.com/wwdc and to apply for your ticket now.
