Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is set to kick off on June 10, featuring six major tracks spanning over 100 technical sessions.

The Media track will probably be extremely important, given the fact that Apple will upgrade its Apple TV offerings alongside iOS 7.

The Cupertino giant provides platform-optimized tools and technologies for developing compelling audio and video experiences, from dynamic web content to media-rich books that come alive on touchscreen devices.

In the Media sessions, up-and-coming developers will learn how to “Dig into state-of-the-art AV Foundation and Audio APIs for capturing, editing, playing, generating, and streaming audio and video media.”

Attendees will learn “best practices for streamlining book creation and delivering the best experience for your content,” as well as ways to leverage WebKit and Safari to provide “dynamic, engaging experiences on the desktop and in native apps.”

The Media track also includes sessions on delivering subtitles and captions across native APIs and the web. iAd Producer will also be featured.
