Apple today announced the schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. Unlike previous years, the company has put the tickets on sale with a slight delay, so that everyone has a sporting chance.

For the past two years, people have been flocking on the day of the announcement to nab their own WWDC ticket. Last year was a pretty good indication of just how hard it is to get one. They sold out in under two hours.

This time around Apple wants everyone to have an equal chance of buying a seat at Moscone West for the unveiling of the next-generation iOS and OS X, and hopefully a revolutionary new product.

As such, Apple today announced that the tickets for WWDC 2013 would go live at a later date.

“Tickets go on sale worldwide on April 25 at 10 a.m. PDT,” reads the notice.
